The MAGIC of Yoga
Over the years, as I've practice yoga, I have learned that there is a secret MAGIC to my time on the mat that defies words…and feelings.
My students have said the same thing.
I’ve found that just a few minutes on the mat stretching and breathing followed by a pause in stillness leaves me feeling more calm and noticeably refreshed. My students agree.
Yet, in spite of this wonderful experience many of us struggle to find the motivation to actually attend class and/or GET ON THE MAT for our personal practice.
Me too!
Life has a way of getting in the way of our best intentions, doesn’t it?
I can't tell you how many times students have said to me, "I didn't want to come to class tonight. I'm exhausted from the week. But I'm SO GLAD I did! I feel much better."
Most people begin their regular yoga practice rather sporadically taking few classes and then they don’t practice for months or years.
Often people don’t return to yoga thinking it’s not for them when in reality perhaps they just didn’t connect with the teacher or the style of yoga. Or maybe they didn’t take enough classes to feel like they truly ‘got’ yoga.

Here’s the thing…
a regular yoga practice doesn’t have to be 60-75 minute classes each week. It doesn’t have to be an hour a day. It can be 5, 15 or 20 minutes a day or three times a week.
Make your practice completely your own. And you will find your own magical experience of yoga!
You’ll begin to feel subtle shifts in how you move, how you feel, how you BE each day.
You may notice you smile more and joy is a daily experience.
Perhaps you become aware of having more tolerance which helps to alleviate some of the stress in your life.
You might notice that breathing is easier and gives you mood lift.
And sooo much more!
It doesn’t take any deep insight or ability. Simply allow the vibration of the poses, the breath, the spirit of yoga to work it's magic on your weary soul.
